Unity Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead architecture and implementation of bridge-based TypeScript services. You will design reliable APIs and evolve the backend foundation to support a growing suite of commerce experiences.

You will work with cloud-based architectures, own design decisions, and collaborate with business and IT partners to deliver scalable, reliable microservices and automated testing. This role emphasizes ownership and architecture excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend microservice experience.
• Experience designing scalable and reliable microservices.
• Proficient in TypeScript for service-layer development.
• Experience with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL, queues, and alerting.
• Strong track record designing RESTful microservices.
• Able to own system design and architectural decisions.
