Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Strong backend and systems engineering skills, including API design and production operations.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and performance trade-offs.
• Experience building shared platforms or self-service infrastructure for multiple teams.
• Ability to quickly understand complex systems and drive pragmatic improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, build, and evolution of scalable platform services and self-service tooling.
• Work across distributed systems, data pipelines, cloud infra, observability, and developer experience.
• Partner with Ads, infrastructure, data, and product teams to deliver reusable solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for cross-functional initiatives across systems and teams.
• Contribute to platform patterns and engineering best practices to raise quality and consistency.
