Job summary

Skatteguiden seeks a Senior Product Engineer (Java) to help build and ship backend features for the Path to Plus membership engine. You will own services end-to-end and collaborate with product, design, data, and frontend stakeholders in a cross-functional team.

You will contribute to cloud migration to Azure, improve observability, and design scalable backend systems with real production traffic and revenue impact.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Java, JUnit and Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of RabbitMQ or comparable broker.
• Familiarity with MySQL and relational data modelling.
• Experience with production web services and data-driven decisions.
• Interest in AI tools and applying them in engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, data and frontend to ship features end-to-end.
• Own backend services powering membership and conversion funnel.
• Build integrations with external services, including data sources and messaging tools.
• Contribute to stock trading tax support and multi-broker architecture.
• Support cloud move to Azure and optimize resources for production.
• Maintain observability and plan tech debt with the team.
