Job summary

Systematic Aarhus seeks a Backend Software Engineer to contribute to the SitaWare Insight platform, bridging AI-driven solutions and ensuring smooth deployment, monitoring, and management of production environments.

You will work on Java-based backend development, build scalable infrastructure, and collaborate with a cross-functional agile team to deliver robust features and reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
• Bring five or more years of experience working in backend software development or engineering.
• Have experience with primarily Java, Docker, Kubernetes and Microservices.
• Excellent communication skills in professional English.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure software to integrate the software components in SitaWare Insight.
• Be a feature lead on new functionalities.
• Build infrastructure setup and deployment piles.
• Build automated test framework.
• Design for scalability.
• Implement performance monitoring and security measures.
• Develop and document according to agile principles.
• Be part of a platform team helping internal teams and customers during installation and deployment of our service.
