Job summary

Skatteguiden is seeking a senior platform/infrastructure engineer to own the AKS migration to Azure and build the new production platform from the ground up. You will shape the environment, implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, and partner with security to embed controls.

You will maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (GitHub Actions + ArgoCD), manage the observability stack, and enable AI tooling for engineers, while keeping costs in check and reliability high.

Qualifications

Solid hands-on experience running and managing AKS in production.
Broad Azure experience including networking, access and permissions.
Linux and networking debugging skills.
IaC, CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling.
Security/compliance focus including GDPR and ISO 27001.
Interest in applying AI in platform tooling.

Responsibilities

Migrate infrastructure to Microsoft Azure; move from bare-metal Kubernetes to AKS with Terraform.
Build and operate the production environment: cluster admin, upgrades, network policies.
Integrate security into the platform with security requirements translated into controls.
Improve developer experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps (GitHub Actions + ArgoCD).
Run the observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana Cloud, Sentry; set up on-call tooling.
Enable engineers to use AI with sandboxed environments and MCP servers.
Manage infrastructure costs with visibility and waste reduction.
