Job summary

Veritaz AB is seeking a Fullstack Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our team. You will develop and operate scalable backend services using Java, build integration services and APIs, and develop routing services connecting customer support systems.

You will work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), design distributed and scalable platform services, and build capabilities supporting AI-driven and human-assisted customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing backend applications with Java.
• Hands-on experience with GCP.
• Experience with system integrations, APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of service-to-service communication.
• Experience with React.
• Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Next.js.
• Understanding of SSR, SSG, routing and data-fetching patterns.
• Experience building production-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of performance, security and observability.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Experience with React Testing Library.
• Experience with integration and component testing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing requirements.
