Job summary

Novo is hiring an Advanced Automation Professional for its Bagsværd site to ensure reliable, compliant automation systems that support critical manufacturing processes. You will design and improve PLC/SCADA and historian solutions, lead lifecycle activities, and collaborate across Production, Engineering and IT/OT to raise manufacturing performance and product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or higher in Automation/Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation in regulated environments.
Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, historian, process control and industrial communication technologies.
Hands-on experience with major platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Emerson, ABB, Schneider Electric, AVEVA, Ignition).
Experience with commissioning, testing, qualification and transitioning solutions to stable operation.
Understanding of lifecycle management, change control and risk-based decision-making in regulated settings.

Responsibilities

Ensure stable, reliable, compliant automation systems for critical manufacturing processes.
Design, implement and improve PLC/SCADA, historian, control systems and industrial infrastructure.
Lead lifecycle activities including upgrades, migrations, patching and obsolescence management.
Support projects from concept through testing, commissioning, qualification and handover.
Provide technical expertise during troubleshooting, root cause investigations and CAPAs.
