Job summary

Novo Nordisk Engineering (NNE) seeks a Senior Process Automation Engineer for DCS in Kalundborg. You will work on automation solutions for API production, collaborating closely with process experts and international teams to design, develop, and qualify DCS applications.

We value 6+ years in automation, experience with ABB 800xA or SattLine in GMP/GAMP settings, and familiarity with batch processes. This on-site role emphasizes hands-on programming, FAT/SAT/UAT, and scalable, data-driven systems.

Qualifications

6+ years or more of working experience and an engineering degree.
4+ years or more of working experience with PCS/DCS Application development (ABB 800xA or ABB SattLine) in GMP/GAMP environments or with automation project execution.
Knowledge of batch production is valued.
GMP/GAMP environment is considered exciting.

Responsibilities

Advising customers on their application process solutions.
Design, develop, program, commission, qualify, FAT, SAT, UAT and handover of DCS applications.
Interact with process experts and colleagues across surrounding systems and equipment (MES, Historian, instruments, production equipment).
Develop and optimize automation methods and strategies and share knowledge with colleagues and partners.
Form basis of automation strategies and architectures to support international sister departments and expand NNE’s Process Automation engagement.
