Job summary

Novo is seeking an Advanced Process Engineering Professional to join our Maintenance & Engineering team in Kalundborg, Denmark. You will analyse downtime, troubleshoot equipment, and lead structured problem solving to deliver sustained improvements.

The role reports to Maintenance & Engineering within Global Manufacturing & Supply. A hands-on, data-driven engineer who can coordinate with operators and cross-functional teams will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in engineering, production support or technical improvement in manufacturing.
• Hands-on production experience with operators on the floor.
• Ability to analyse data, troubleshoot and apply root cause analysis.
• Plan technical tasks, coordinate stakeholders and drive actions.

Responsibilities

• Analyse downtime, rejects and trends to identify losses.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues with operators and document actions.
• Apply structured problem solving to identify root causes and run trials.
• Contribute to change controls, risk assessments and documentation.
• Provide input on equipment changes and supplier evaluations during ramp-up.
• Escalate safety, quality and delivery risks when needed.
