Novo Nordisk A/S in Bagsværd seeks an Advanced Automation Professional to own automation solutions across their lifecycle, turning complex challenges into sustainable improvements. You will design, implement and maintain PLC, SCADA and historian systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering and IT/OT teams to ensure reliable, compliant operations and readiness for future demand, while leading upgrades, migrations and validation activities

Qualifications

• You are an experienced automation professional with a structured approach and cross-functional collaboration.
• Five-plus years in industrial automation within regulated manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, historian, process control, and industrial communication.
• Experience with lifecycle management, change control, and documentation in a regulated environment.

Responsabilités

• Ensure stable, reliable and compliant automation systems supporting critical manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Design, implement and improve solutions across PLC, SCADA, historian, control system and industrial infrastructure environments.
• Drive solutions to complex automation challenges together with Production, Engineering and external partners.
• Support projects from early concept and design through testing, commissioning, qualification, handover and operational readiness.
• Lead lifecycle activities including upgrades, migrations, patching, standardisation and obsolescence management, while identifying opportunities to improve system reliability and production performance.
• Provide technical expertise during troubleshooting, root cause investigations, deviations and CAPA, sharing knowledge with colleagues and exploring technologies that can strengthen future manufacturing capabilities.
