Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Denmark is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Quality to build AI-powered testing and intelligent automation. You will design, build, and operate agents that support test creation, execution, maintenance, evaluation, and failure triage.

This fully remote role blends hands-on software engineering with test infrastructure, distributed systems, CI at scale, and emerging LLM technologies. You will help product teams take ownership of quality by providing tooling and patterns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building test infrastructure and internal tooling.
• Practical experience with LLMs or agent frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and CI at scale.
• Ability to influence teams and drive adoption of tools.
• Willingness to understand the product to build quality solutions.
• Experience with Java, TypeScript, or Python; Kubernetes and Helm are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate AI agents across the testing lifecycle.
• Own the infrastructure to make agent-driven testing dependable.
• Establish reliable evaluation methods for AI outputs.
• Apply AI evaluation to non-deterministic capabilities.
• Collaborate with product engineering to keep tools aligned with needs.
• Develop reusable testing patterns and tooling.
• Drive adoption of quality engineering across teams.
• Contribute to system design and testing infrastructure improvements.
