Job summary

GetWhy is building an AI-powered human insights platform in Copenhagen, delivering rapid consumer intelligence to leading brands. We seek a Senior AI Engineer to own ML lifecycle tasks from data annotation design to model training, validation and deployment.

You will work with researchers and product teams, mentor juniors, and push the boundaries of NLP, LLMs, and AI safety while writing clean production-grade code in Python.

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing machine learning systems, especially NLP models.
• Proficiency in Python and solid fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with large language models at scale, prompt engineering and AI agents.
• Strong understanding of LLM evaluation, hallucinations, context management, conversational AI and voice tech including text-to-speech.
• Proven ability to formulate hypotheses, run experiments and analyze results.
• Exceptional English skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered features at scale using LLMs.
• Research, prototype, and deploy advanced NLP/ML models for end-user problem resolution.
• Design experiments to improve model accuracy and reliability.
• Refine prompts and tune hyper-parameters for retrieval and generative AI systems.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers and product teams on scope and strategy.
• Mentor junior team members and share ML knowledge.
• Contribute to technical reviews and uphold ML best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable production-grade code.
