Job summary

Trident Maritime seeks a driven Business Development Manager to identify, originate, and close ship management opportunities worldwide. You will engage with shipowners and executives to negotiate contracts and deliver end-to-end commercial success.

This role provides autonomy, direct access to company leadership, and a performance-based compensation model. Candidates should demonstrate proven maritime dealmaking and the ability to win multi-vessel mandates.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to win and close maritime commercial contracts.
• Access to shipowners and senior decision-makers.
• Experience in ship management, shipbroking, vessel operations, chartering or related sectors.
• Strong negotiation and deal-closing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and originate ship management opportunities globally.
• Manage full commercial process from first contact to signed contracts.
• Engage with owners, investors and fleet executives to convert opportunities.
• Demonstrate autonomous, results-driven deal-making with leadership exposure.
