Job summary

Nordic Innovators, headquartered in Copenhagen and Aarhus, Denmark, seeks a Deep Tech Consultant to drive European R&D funding proposals across Horizon Europe, EIC, and related programs. You will combine physics-level insight with strategic proposal development for innovative clients in Europe.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, work with universities and scale-ups, and help shape funding strategies while benefiting from training and mentorship in a flexible, remote-ready Danish setting.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Physics or related Deep Tech field.
• Experience writing EU R&D funding proposals (Horizon Europe, EIC, etc.).
• Fluency in English (C1) and German (C1) is a plus.
• Experience with deep-tech SMEs, scale-ups or research organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to the development of high-quality European R&D funding proposals.
• Translate complex technologies into clear, structured proposals aligned with EU criteria.
• Advise clients on funding strategies and project positioning.
• Facilitate workshops and gather proposal inputs.
• Coordinate proposal development across stakeholders and internal teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of inputs and overall proposal quality.
• Stay up to date with trends in innovation and EU funding opportunities.
• Contribute to Nord ic Innovators’ proposal methodologies and best practices.
• Share knowledge on digital technologies and EU funding opportunities within the team.
