Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect.

• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed drawings.
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of local regulations related to historic preservation is preferred but not required.

Our architectural firm in Odense is seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for planning and overseeing the preservation and restoration of historical buildings monuments and sites

Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough research on historical buildings and sites to understand their historical significance and construction methods
• Developing preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
• Collaborating with engineers contractors and other professionals to execute preservation projects
• Inspecting and assessing the condition of historical structures and determining necessary repairs or restorations
• Creating detailed drawings specifications and cost estimates for preservation projects
• Ensuring that all restoration work is done in accordance with conservation principles and techniques
• Supervising construction work to ensure quality and adherence to preservation plans
• Maintaining accurate records of all preservation projects

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation
