Job description

Location: Horsens Denmark

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Horsens Denmark.

As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while ensuring they meet safety and building code standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and necessary preservation measures
• Develop and implement preservation plans that adhere to safety and building code regulations
• Work closely with clients contractors and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of preservation projects
• Prepare detailed drawings specifications and cost estimates for preservation projects
• Source appropriate materials for restoration work while considering budget constraints
• Supervise construction work to ensure it meets the project requirements and quality standards
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
• Stay updated on current preservation techniques materials and regulations in order to provide the best possible service to clients

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related field
