Job summary

PeakFleet in Aalborg is seeking a Preservation Architect to join our team. You will conduct thorough inspections of historic buildings, assess their condition and identify repairs or restoration work.

You will collaborate with engineers, contractors and other professionals to develop preservation plans, apply specialized techniques, ensure safety and code compliance, and manage budgets and timelines. The ideal candidate has a degree in Architecture, at least three years in historic preservation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 3+ years experience as an Architect, preferably in historic preservation.
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations and construction methods.
• Familiarity with specialized techniques and materials used in historic preservation projects.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or other architectural design software.

Requirements

We are offering a competitive salary of $1700 per month along with accommodation in Aalborg.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for preserving history while also possessing the technical skills necessary to ensure the longevity of historical buildings.
