Job summary

Flyper seeks a Preservation Architect in Vejle, Denmark, to preserve and restore historic buildings. This is a contract role with an initial salary of 1700$ per month, plus accommodation.

The role involves researching historic structures, developing preservation strategies, coordinating with construction teams, and ensuring compliance with preservation standards. Applicants with or without prior preservation experience are welcome as training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Preservation/restoration experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of building codes and historical preservation guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with team members, clients and authorities.
• Biometric passport or ability to obtain one for international travel.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Preservation Architect to join our team in Vejle Denmark. As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. This is a contract job with an initial salary of 1700$ per month. Accommodation will also be provided for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Conducting research and analysis on historic buildings and structures
• Developing preservation plans and strategies
• Assessing the condition of historic buildings and identifying necessary repairs or restoration work
• Collaborating with construction teams to ensure proper execution of preservation plans
• Monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to preservation standards
• Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities
• Maintaining accurate documentation of all preservation work

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or a related field
• Previous experience in preservation or restoration work is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Knowledge of building codes regulations and historical preservation guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
