Job description

As Impact Fund Denmark continues to grow and professionalise, we want more of our people and organisational decisions to be grounded in evidence, data and a clear understanding of what drives behaviour and performance.

That is why we are creating a new role at the intersection of People Analytics, Reward and Talent.

You might already work in HR and be looking to build deeper analytical expertise. Or you may come from organisational psychology, economics, analytics or a related field and want to apply your skills in a People & Culture setting.

Either way, what matters most is that you are curious about how organisations work, comfortable working with data, and able to turn analysis into useful insights and practical recommendations and that you take pride in contributing and getting things to impact.

You will report to our Head of People & Culture.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Your role is to help us understand our organisation better — and use that understanding to make better decisions.

Your work will span analytics, reward and talent. You will:

Analyse employee, performance, engagement, talent and compensation data

Turn data and research into clear conclusions and practical recommendations for People & Culture and management

Support compensation benchmarking and our annual salary and compensation processes

Contribute to the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency requirements, including the related analysis and reporting

Develop dashboards, recurring People reporting and metrics that help us focus on what matters

Analyse engagement survey results and help turn them into meaningful organisational actions

Support talent, succession and performance processes with analysis and insight

Bring relevant research from organisational psychology and behavioural science into the way we design and evaluate People initiatives

Challenge assumptions and help us understand whether our interventions are having the intended effect

Prepare clear presentations and decision material for colleagues and leadership

Contribute to selected organisational development and talent projects

YOUR FIRST YEAR

By the end of your first year, we would expect to see progress in five areas:

Data: our People reporting and analytics are clearer, more consistent and more useful

Reward: compensation processes are supported by reliable analysis and relevant market data

Listening: employee survey data is translated into meaningful insights rather than simply reported

Evidence: important People initiatives increasingly have a clear evidence base, purpose and intended outcome

Decision support: People & Culture and leadership receive concise, relevant analysis that helps them make better decisions

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This is what we need to see:

A relevant academic background, for example in psychology, organisational psychology, economics, business, HR, statistics or another analytical discipline

Strong quantitative and analytical skills

A few years of relevant professional experience. We care more about the quality and relevance of your experience than an exact number of years

Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data

The ability to move from data or research to a clear conclusion and a practical recommendation

Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding why People practices work — rather than simply following established practice

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Professional fluency in English

These would be advantages, but they are not requirements:

Previous HR experience

Experience with Compensation & Benefits or Reward

Experience with People Analytics, employee surveys or HR reporting

Knowledge of statistics or research methodology

Experience with Power BI or similar visualisation tools

Experience applying organisational psychology or behavioural science in an organisational setting

Emotional intelligence, active listening and the ability to stay neutral under pressure

Courage to address uncomfortable issues, strong mediation and conflict-resolution capability

Professional fluency in Danish

WHERE THE ROLE SITS

This is an individual-contributor role within People & Culture.

You will work closely with the Head of People & Culture and with colleagues responsible for People Partnering, Operations and Recruitment.

Your role is to bring analytical depth and an evidence-based perspective to the areas where it can improve our decisions — particularly Reward, Talent, engagement and organisational development.

The scope is intentionally broad enough for you to grow and develop, but the professional core is clear: using data and evidence to improve people and organisational decisions.

WHY JOIN US

This is an opportunity to:

Help build a new capability at the intersection of People Analytics, Reward and Talent

Work closely with the Head of People & Culture and colleagues across the function

Apply data, research and behavioural science to real organisational questions

Build broad experience across compensation, talent, engagement and organisational development

Work in an organisation where the People agenda connects to a wider purpose: our colleagues support investments in green energy and infrastructure, financial services, sustainable food systems and healthcare in developing countries

PRACTICAL DETAILS

Position: Permanent, full-time, 39 hours per week including lunch

Hybrid: We currently have up to 20% of working time from home. We aim for first 6 months of employment to be in office for successful onboarding and integration into team and organisation.
