Job summary

Nitor Energy in Aarhus is seeking a part-time Junior IT Supporter to join our IT team. This role is suited for students or early-career tech enthusiasts who want hands-on experience across hardware, software, and access management.

You will support users on Windows and Linux, troubleshoot network basics, document processes, and contribute to IT improvement projects while learning in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Ideally, you’re enrolled in a relevant degree (Computer Science, IT-Technology, Data Technician, or similar) or possess comparable hands-on experience.
• Perhaps you’ve already worked in IT or are self-taught with a broad technical interest.
• Practical understanding of Windows, Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Analytical and self-driven, able to trace and understand problems across infrastructure, network, and applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in supporting and interacting with colleagues across the organization.
• Deep interest in technology – perhaps you tinker with home labs, code, or explore how systems fit together.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day IT support for users across hardware, applications, and access management
• Managing user administration, permissions, and troubleshooting access or license issues
• Triage and investigate day-to-day infrastructure and security alerts
• Contribute to ongoing IT improvement projects and suggest better ways of working
• Maintain and update IT documentation and user guides
• Assist in planning and executing internal IT initiatives, automation tasks, and infrastructure improvements
