Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy is seeking an Instrumentation Preparator (Onshore) to support preparation of instrumentation and telecoms for onshore sites. This permanent, full-time role focuses on working within GMC KPIs, ensuring accurate work orders, and pre-planning materials and services in CMIMS for safe execution at site.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in maintenance operations support, strong knowledge of CMIMS and SAP-based tools, and proficiency in Evision permit

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance operations support.
• Good knowledge of planning and CMIMS tools (preferably SAP based), Evision permit systems and other Preparations, Tools/Resources.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to adherence to GMC scope of services and improve KPIs, preparations, backlog control planning, and equipment availability/reliability.
• Take charge of Work Orders under your responsibility and ensure accuracy of detailed technical elements during preparations.
• Ensure Work Orders are resourced with all materials, tools, and services identified and pre-planned in CMIMS for site execution.
• Review procedures and work instructions; ensure adaptability and review locations and WO lists for all outstanding works during preparations.
• Ensure permits to work are prepared in line with procedures and ready ahead of execution datelines, typically 5 weeks before start.
• Maintain a low rate of unapproved WOs under the scope of responsibility and align with safety and production principles.
• Follow daily PM04 prep guidelines to define task priorities; escalate with GMC Preparations focal point for clarifications.
