Job summary

Semco Maritime is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC design experience to design offshore substations and drive robust HVAC solutions for large renewable energy projects. You will join the Renewables division and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, suppliers and fabrication yards throughout the project lifecycle.

In this role you will help deliver safe, efficient and compliant HVAC systems from concept to commissioning, with travel and site support as required.

Qualifications

• Structured and solution‑oriented Mechanical Engineer with HVAC design focus.
• Experience in HVAC system design for offshore substations or similar environments.
• Professional English communication and proven teamwork skills.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance across projects.

Responsibilities

• Design ventilation, cooling, heating and pressurization systems for offshore substations with accurate sizing and calculations.
• Develop HVAC philosophies, specifications, diagrams and technical requisitions for EPC projects.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, structural, piping, fire protection and control disciplines.
• Support procurement, bid evaluation and vendor follow‑up during the project lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews, client meetings and FAT/SAT activities as needed.
• Assist fabrication, testing and commissioning activities including site support.
