Job summary

Semco Maritime is seeking a Site Engineer, Mechanical for our Renewables division to join an international team delivering offshore substations and windfarm projects. You will lead installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, including ventilation, cooling, fire suppression, diesel generator and fuel systems.

You will coordinate with suppliers and staff, manage daily site activities for 4-10 workers, and travel to sites as required to ensure schedules and quality are met.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or marine engineering.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
• Experience working with staff and supplier contracts.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Willingness to travel to sites in an international setting.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily site activities for 4-10 skilled workers.
• Ensure activities adhere to schedule and are properly planned.
• Coordinate with installation suppliers, yard and partners.
• Purchase and oversee timely delivery of materials; coordinate with vendors.
• Plan with Engineering on design changes and related topics.
• Run start-up and commissioning of mechanical systems.
