As our new Ocean Freight Operations Head, you will play a central role in developing and strengthening our ocean freight operations in Denmark. You will be responsible for driving operational performance, implementing global standards and ensuring that our processes, systems and ways of working support both customer expectations and business objectives.

Working closely with colleagues across the Danish organization, regional and global teams, you will translate strategies and improvement opportunities into practical solutions that create measurable results.

We are looking for someone, who:
  • combines a strong operational understanding with the ability to see opportunities for improvement and development.
  • enjoys leading change and understands that successful implementation requires both clear direction and involvement of the people affected.
  • works in a structured and analytical manner, using data and operational insights to support decisions.
  • takes ownership of challenges and follows improvement initiatives through to completion.
  • can balance operational efficiency, quality, compliance and customer expectations.
  • communicates clearly and confidently with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
  • can influence and create alignment across teams and functions, even without direct managerial authority.
  • enjoys developing colleagues, sharing knowledge and building a culture of continuous improvement.
  • is comfortable working in an international organization where local priorities and global standards must work together.
We expect you to:
  • have more than 6 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within freight forwarding and ocean freight operations.
  • have a solid understanding of operational processes, performance management and customer requirements within international logistics.
  • have experience with process improvement, project management or operational transformation.
  • have experience leading people, teams or cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • be familiar with operational systems and digital solutions used within freight forwarding. Experience with CargoWise or similar systems is an advantage.
  • have experience working with operational KPIs, quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • hold a Bachelor's degree or have equivalent relevant experience and qualifications.
  • be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • be able to communicate professionally in Danish.
And from us, you can expect:
  • a key role in developing the future of our ocean freight operations in Denmark.
  • the opportunity to influence operational performance, processes and ways of working.
  • close collaboration with experienced colleagues across Denmark and our international network.
