Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking a PR Specialist in Denmark to support local and Nordic public relations activities, collaborate with the European Marketing & PR team, and adapt global messages to the Danish market.

You will build media relationships, coordinate press materials and events, and report to the Marketing Manager in Denmark, contributing to brand visibility and sustainable mobility in Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in public relations, communications, or media relations; automotive sector preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to tailor messages.
• Fluent Danish and English, with understanding of Danish media landscape.
• Experience with media agencies or influencers is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel within Denmark and Nordic region.

Responsibilities

• Support local PR and communications plans aligned with European strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with local media, journalists, and influencers.
• Coordinate press releases, media materials, product information, and key messages.
• Plan and execute media events, press conferences, launches, and test-drive activities.
• Coordinate vehicle/test-drive arrangements for media and influencers.
• Monitor media coverage and market trends; report insights for planning.
• Support management of PR agencies, media partnerships, and influencer collaborations.
• Collaborate with sales and dealer network to support PR initiatives and brand-building.
