Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist based in Aarhus to support a large manufacturing and distribution environment.

You will assist ~800+ users across sites, focusing on site infrastructure, end-user devices, and workplace technology within the Nordic region. You will join a global IT community, deliver hands-on support, and drive IT initiatives with strong customer service, incident resolution, and asset management.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, IT Field Service, or similar technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
• Experience troubleshooting of PC hardware, laptops, peripherals, and end-user devices.
• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts: IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Network routing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent Danish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for end-user hardware, software, and workplace technologies.
• Deliver hands-on support for IT-owned site infrastructure and end-user devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents while taking ownership through to resolution.
• Manage PC lifecycle activities including deployment, installation, maintenance, refresh, and decommissioning.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory records and ensure stockroom operations align with global standards.
• Operate within IT Service Management processes, including incident, problem, and change management using ServiceNow.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and company policies.
• Build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical users through proactive communication and customer service.
