Job summary

Form & Frys Maskinteknik, based in Hobro, Denmark, seeks a Managing Director who can translate strategy into action, drive profitable growth, and lead across sales, engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and finance.

You will have full P&L responsibility, own budgeting and forecasting, and work with the Board and international stakeholders to build a scalable organization. Fluency in Danish and English and willingness to travel are required.

Are you a strong leadership profile who can translate strategy into action plans, then you have the chance to become the Managing Director of Form & Frys.

Drive strategy, performance, and operational excellence across the organization
As Managing Director of Form & Frys, you will have full P&L responsibility and overall accountability for the strategic, commercial, operational, and organizational development of the company. Reporting to the Board of Directors of Rademaker, you will lead the business into its next phase of development, with a clear mandate to drive profitable growth, strengthen performance, and build a more scalable organization.

You will own the financial performance of the business, including revenue, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and delivery against agreed targets and KPIs. Working closely with the leadership team, you will translate strategy into clear priorities and strengthen structures, processes, and leadership capabilities across sales, engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, finance, and people.

Commercially, you will strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic accounts while identifying new opportunities for growth. At the same time, you will work closely with Rademaker to leverage the capabilities and international reach of the wider organization, balancing Form & Frys' entrepreneurial mindset, technical expertise, and customer proximity with the structure and strategic direction required for continued profitable growth.

Adept leader with technical abilities and a strong commercial mindset
The ideal candidate brings solid senior leadership experience from an international industrial or manufacturing environment, ideally within machinery, automation, food processing equipment, or another engineering-driven business. You have held full P&L responsibility and combine strong commercial acumen with a sound understanding of operations, technology, and financial management that enables you to make informed decisions that drive the company's performance. Likewise, you have extensive experience in managing high-level, global stakeholders, paired with strong technical expertise.

You have a proven track record of developing and professionalizing organizations, translating strategy into execution, and driving profitable growth. Experience working with a parent company or professional Board is an advantage, as is exposure to international B2B markets.

You are a commercially minded and engaging leader who combines strategic perspective with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach. You create direction, structure, and accountability while empowering the organization and leadership team to take ownership and deliver results. Entrepreneurial and decisive by nature, you are comfortable operating close to customers, employees, and the business while maintaining a broader strategic perspective. You build strong relationships across the organization and balance the need for greater structure and professionalization with the agility and entrepreneurial mindset that characterize Form & Frys. Furthermore, you are required to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as you will be collaborating across various functions and levels within the organization. Finally, fluency in both Danish and English is required, and you should be prepared to travel as necessary to meet the demands of this role.
