Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead a 15-person finance team across its Danish operation. • Experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax, and compliance.
• Proven track record in leading and developing teams.
• Solid knowledge of Danish accounting regulations, VAT, and IFRS reporting.
• Proficiency with SAP and data-driven decision support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a finance team of 15 professionals to deliver high-quality reporting, compliance, and business support.
• Own and lead the monthly closing and Group reporting processes for the Danish entities, ensuring high-quality financial reporting, strong controls, and adherence to reporting deadlines
• Oversee statutory accounting, tax reporting, VAT compliance, and external financial reporting to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance across Danish entities and sites.
• Partner with business leaders and other global finance stakeholders to improve performance, strengthen decision-making, and support strategic priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement, digitalization, and standardization initiatives that enhance finance processes, controls, and efficiency.
• Strengthen governance, risk management, and internal controls to support operational excellence and long-term business success.

• You bring a solid understanding of Danish accounting regulations, taxation, VAT, internal controls, and IFRS reporting.
• You are confident using SAP, financial reporting tools, and data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• You build trusted relationships across functions and communicate complex financial topics clearly and effectively in both Danish and English.
