Job summary

DIS/CREADIS is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to drive the systems engineering effort on complex defense, critical infrastructure, and high‑tech projects. You will align customer needs, requirements, architecture, and verification across the full lifecycle.

You will lead cross‑disciplinary teams, manage interfaces, perform trade‑off analyses, and ensure traceability from requirements to delivery, while acting as the technical authority throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in complex technical development projects.
• Experience with software-intensive systems and multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• MSc degree in Software Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical domains is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead the systems engineering effort throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Clarify stakeholder needs and translate them into system requirements.
• Drive requirements management, reviews, and release activities.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, architecture, implementation, and verification.
• Maintain overall system visibility across products, subsystems, and supplier deliveries.
• Define and manage interfaces between systems and engineering disciplines.
• Drive technical decision-making and trade-off analyses.
• Coordinate technical activities across work packages.
• Support integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Act as the technical authority during deliveries and customer acceptance activities.
