Job summary

Ramboll in Denmark is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead electrical and power system design across high, medium and low voltage for industrial and energy projects. You will guide technical scope, coordinate engineering teams, and act as the Owner's Engineer while collaborating with clients.

The role combines hands-on engineering leadership with advisory work, requiring a strong background in standards, procurement support, and project delivery across FEED to detailed engineering.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical engineering education with emphasis on power systems.
• Experience in Power Systems, LV and MV engineering and project delivery.
• Proven ability to manage projects and engineering teams.
• Commercial mindset and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead LV and MV system design per standards and regulations.
• Oversee technical scope and coordinate small to mid-size teams.
• Act as client’s technical advisor and Owners Engineer.
• Prepare specs for transformers, switchgear, cables, earthing and protection.
• Support procurement with clarifications during execution.
• Participate in factory and site acceptance testing.
• Contribute to sales and proposal work.
