Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join our Power Systems team in Aarhus. You will lead electrical and power-system solutions across high, medium and low voltage for industrial and energy projects.

You will collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, guiding design from concepts through FEED and detailed engineering, while delivering high-quality outcomes and nurturing strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng in electrical engineering or similar.
• Proven power systems experience incl. LV/MV engineering.
• Experience leading projects and engineering teams.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of low voltage & medium voltage systems according to standards.
• Lead the technical scope and smaller/mid-size engineering teams.
• Act as the client’s technical advisor and Owners Engineer.
• Prepare technical specifications for transformers, switchgear, cables, earthing, and protection.
• Support procurement with technical clarifications during execution.
• Participate in factory and site acceptance testing.
• Participate in sales and proposal work.
