Job summary

Vestas Research & Development (R&D) Offshore Solutions in Aarhus advances offshore wind turbine offerings, maturing and launching new products to strengthen Vestas' leadership in sustainable energy.

You will work with a global team across regions, overseeing market understanding, product requirements, verification, and go-to-market strategies, while aligning multiple stakeholders from sales to service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• Experience in product development, technical project management or product management.
• Experience with stage-gate development and system engineering processes.
• Wind industry experience or work in a large international company with focus on product development, manufacturing and sales of complex products.
• Good communication skills in English, both orally and written.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate market use cases and manage and formalize product requirements.
• Ensure module to module alignment and tradeoffs.
• Direct the scope and technical delivery of product development initiatives.
• Conduct technical review at product level.
• Manage risks on product level and towards the commercial projects.
• Ensure product level verification, validation and prototype management.
• Liaise with a network of sales, procurement, manufacturing, transport, construction and service; support market launch activities.
