Job summary

Vestas in Aarhus, Denmark, is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Marine Engineer to develop high-end production test solutions for wind turbine manufacturing. You will own electrical design across projects, from concept to on-site installation, partnering with global factories.

You will join Manufacturing Test, a team delivering CE-marked, safe, reliable test systems for control cabinets, power converters and nacelles. This role emphasizes practical problem solving and hands-on delivery.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Marine Engineering.
Practical experience with electrical systems and problem-solving.
Knowledge of EU standards, low-voltage design, and CE-marking requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design and delivery of complete test solutions from concept to handover.
Develop test concepts and translate into robust electrical designs.
Create technical purchase specifications and coordinate equipment builds.
Collaborate with project managers, R&D and global factories.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety standards are met.
Install, commission on-site, and deliver CE-compliant documentation.
