Job summary

Triband in Copenhagen is seeking a Lead Game Programmer to own the core architecture and multiplayer tech, while staying hands-on in code and the Unity editor. You will guide the programming team, help set technical direction, and ensure architectures support creative experimentation.

You’ll collaborate with designers and artists to implement features, review solutions, and address risks, maintaining a healthy codebase as the project evolves.

Qualifications

• Ten years of professional game development experience across multiple shipped games.
• Experience setting technical direction and guiding a programming team.
• Strong C# knowledge with deep Unity engine/editor expertise.
• Shipped at least one online multiplayer game with ownership of networking/online systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, artists and programmers to build new features and systems.
• Define and communicate the project's technical direction and priorities.
• Help the team make architectural decisions balancing performance, maintainability and production needs.
• Review and improve technical solutions, share best practices and support other programmers.
• Identify risks and address foundational issues to keep the codebase healthy.
