Job summary

Demant is seeking a Senior Audiological Data Engineer to advance our data capabilities within the Audiological Solutions group. You will lead data engineering initiatives, design scalable data pipelines, and collaborate with developers, researchers and product stakeholders to drive data-driven audiology.

You will mentor teammates, foster best practices in data quality and governance, and help shape our data landscape as part of an Agile SAFe release train. Fluent English is required.

• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and communicate complex topics clearly.
• Experience handling complex datasets with a focus on usability and reliability.
• Proven ability to mentor and support teams in adopting data-driven practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with developers, researchers, and product stakeholders to identify opportunities where data can improve development and user outcomes.
• Ensure access to high-quality, well-structured, and well-documented data.
• Enable self-service data usage through training, mentoring, and reusable tools. Provide technical leadership.
• Act as Lead Developer for data engineering initiatives in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Shape data architecture, governance standards, and platform best practices.
• Collaborate across teams to align data capabilities and promote common standards; Build and scale data solutions.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, datasets, dashboards, and developer-facing tools.
• Implement testing, monitoring, and data quality practices to ensure reliability and scalability.
