Demant is seeking a Senior Audiological Data Engineer to advance our data capabilities within the Audiological Solutions group. You will lead data engineering initiatives, design scalable data pipelines, and collaborate with developers, researchers and product stakeholders to drive data-driven audiology.
You will mentor teammates, foster best practices in data quality and governance, and help shape our data landscape as part of an Agile SAFe release train. Fluent English is required.
At Demant, we shape the future of audiological solutions to improve the lives of people with hearing loss. Within the Audiological Solutions group, we contribute across the hearing aid development lifecycle—from maturing and specifying advanced audio algorithms to enabling data-driven innovation. As we continue to strengthen our data-driven development approach, we are looking for a Senior Audiological Data Engineer to help drive this transformation.
You will join a small Data Insights team within the Audiological Solutions group. The team maintains and develops our data infrastructure in close collaboration with colleagues across the organization. We enable data to be used effectively in the development of audiological features for Oticon’s global hearing instrument portfolio. In addition, the team supports developers and researchers with data analysis and training, ensuring that data is accessible, reliable, and actionable. You will play a key role in advancing our data capabilities, acting as a lead developer within the team while helping shape our future data landscape. Our ambition is clear: to enhance hearing instrument performance through data-driven audiology.
You will be part of a Scrum team with a dedicated Product Owner and Scrum Master. The team collaborates with multiple stakeholders across R&D. Development is organized within an Agile Release Train following SAFe principles.
You hold an M.Sc. in Engineering or similar, with a focus on data engineering, data science, machine learning, or related fields. Experience with audiological systems is an advantage.
You are motivated by driving change and eager to contribute to building a stronger, more mature data-driven culture.
