India Spice in Denmark is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee daily prep, service, and catering operations, keeping the kitchen structured, efficient, and running smoothly. You will coordinate activities, enforce strict hygiene standards, and ensure timely service across all outlets.

You will manage staff schedules, inventory, and purchasing while collaborating with chefs and front-of-house to maintain high food quality.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering in a professional kitchen, catering operation, or food production environment is valued.
• Must be structured, dependable, and punctual with a sense of ownership.
• Clear English communication; Danish is a plus but not required.

Responsabilités

• Overall coordination and organizational leadership of the kitchen.
• Maintain hygiene and food safety per Danish Fødevarestyrelsen regulations.
• Staff scheduling and daily task delegation for kitchen and prep staff.
• Overseeing kitchen maintenance, equipment, tandoors, and stations; ensure peak condition.
• Purchasing, ordering ingredients, spices, packaging, and supplies.
• Inventory management and stock control for high-volume weekends and catering.
• Establish prep routines, portion control, and workflow improvements as catering expands.
• Collaborate with chefs and front-of-house to ensure consistent food quality and punctual service.
