Job summary

Restaurant Flammen is expanding into Sweden and is seeking a Kitchen Manager for the new Jönköping restaurant. You will lead the kitchen’s daily operations, ensure high-quality buffet-style offerings, and ensure that recipes are followed with accuracy.

You will recruit, train and develop the kitchen team, establish routines, manage food safety and costs, and drive the opening preparations to ensure a successful launch and continued growth in Sweden.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading a kitchen and a team within the restaurant industry.
• Solid knowledge of food safety and relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen’s daily operations with focus on taste, quality, structure and following recipes.
• Manage food costs, waste, ordering, staffing, planning and follow-up.
• Be a hands-on, visible leader, developing and motivating a strong team.
• Play a central role in opening the new kitchen and training the team before launch.
