Job summary

Systematic Copenhagen is seeking a Software QA Engineer to launch a career in software quality assurance, contributing to a next-generation training platform for Defence operations. You will work closely with colleagues in Copenhagen and Aarhus, gaining exposure across the development lifecycle and travel to the Aarhus HQ about 20 days per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, completed or expected soon.
• No prior professional testing experience required; motivation and right mindset are valued.
• Knowledge of software design and architecture, and test design techniques.
• Genuine interest in software testing and quality assurance with a desire to build a career in the field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to contribute constructively to a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, contribute to test strategy design, and develop test cases under guidance.
• Manually test on-premise and cloud solutions.
• Engage with developers, product owners, designers, and project managers to understand assignments.
• Support the principle that quality is built in from the start of the development process.
• Participate in test activities such as system testing, bug hunts, and integration testing.
