Job summary

Systematic Copenhagen is establishing a development-focused Defence team and seeks a Junior QA Engineer to begin a career in software testing. You will learn through close cooperation with experienced colleagues, contributing to test design, requirements analysis, and release activities across the full development lifecycle.

No prior testing experience is required; a genuine interest in testing and strong communication are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• No prior professional testing experience required; motivation and mindset matter most.
• Knowledge of software design and architecture, and of test design techniques.
• Genuine interest in software testing and quality assurance with career intent.
• Strong communication skills and ability to contribute constructively to a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements, contribute to test strategy design, and develop test cases under guidance.
• Manually test on-premise and cloud solutions.
• Engage with developers, product owners, designers, and project managers to understand assignments.
• Support the principle that quality is built in from the beginning of development.
• Participate in test activities such as system testing, bug hunts, and integration testing.
