Job summary

LEGO Group is seeking an early-career mechanical product design engineer to develop the next generation of LEGO bricks from concept to production-ready design. You will leverage strong CAD skills and 3D design expertise to deliver models, drawings, and specifications while applying quality and manufacturability standards.

In Novelty Element Development, you will collaborate with Design, Marketing, and Mould Development teams to turn ideas into manufacturable bricks for mass production,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of CAD systems and 3D design.
• Variation and tolerance design principles; basic statistical methods.
• Proven track record of excellence in mechanical engineering.
• Focused, results-oriented work style.
• Knowledge of mechanical and structural design principles.
• Ability to build relationships across borders with a global mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical designs for LEGO bricks.
• Deliver CAD models, drawings, and specifications for LEGO bricks.
• Apply current quality standards for functionality, building systems and safety.
• Incorporate Design for Manufacturing principles into element designs.
• Conduct prototype testing and verify material selection and functionality.
