Job summary

LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark seeks an early-career Mechanical Product Design Engineer to translate creative ideas into manufacturable LEGO bricks. You will apply your CAD skills, contribute to concept-to-production designs, and collaborate with Design, Marketing, and Mould/Equipment teams.

You will develop technical designs for new elements, ensure quality and manufacturability, and participate in prototype testing with a global mindset and strong cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of CAD systems and 3D design.
• Apply variation and tolerance design principles and basic statistics.
• Proven track record in mechanical engineering.
• Focused and results-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of mechanical and structural design principles.
• Build relationships across geographies with a global mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical designs for new LEGO bricks.
• Deliver CAD models, drawings, and specifications for bricks.
• Interpret and apply current quality standards for functionality and safety.
• Incorporate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) into designs.
• Conduct prototype testing and verify materials and safety.
• Contribute to team success in a collaborative environment.
