Job summary

SteelAxis seeks an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Vejle, Denmark. You will provide technical support to clients, troubleshoot hardware and software, and help set up and maintain computer networks.

You will also train end-users and document interactions to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong Windows and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP DNS DHCP
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in simple terms
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work well under pressure
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings or weekends if needed

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals
• Set up and maintain computer networks including routers, switches and firewalls
• Install and configure software applications as needed
• Train end-users on basic computer functions and troubleshoot related issues
• Document all support interactions accurately for future reference
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical problems
