The role involves managing servers, virtualization, storage, backups and incident response in a growing renewable-energy company with an international footprint.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating server, virtualization and storage infrastructure.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux systems.
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Troubleshooting and incident management.
• Patch management, system updates and upgrades.
• Capacity planning and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Designing and operating IT infrastructure including servers, virtualization and storage.
• Administering Windows and Linux systems.
• Managing backup solutions and ensuring data protection and recoverability.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and handling incidents through to resolution.
• Patch management and coordinating system updates and upgrades.
• Capacity planning and performance tuning to keep the infrastructure running smoothly as we grow.
