Job summary

Eurowind Energy A/S, based in Denmark, seeks a Technical Operations Specialist to join the Technical Asset Management team. You will oversee operation and maintenance of electrical grids and installations, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), using SCADA to ensure safe, stable, and efficient performance.

You will collaborate with EPC, Asset Management, Investors, service providers and grid operators, plan shutdowns, coordinate switching, investigate faults and optimize documentation.

Right now, we are looking for a new colleague to join our Technical Asset Management team.

Your role

As Technical Operations Specialist at Eurowind Energy, you will play a key role in the operation and maintenance of electrical grids and electrical installations in Denmark, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will be part of the Technical Asset Management function and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operation of our assets.

Your responsibilities will include, among others:

• Operation of electrical grids and electrical installations, primarily via SCADA systems
• Planning and coordination of shutdowns related to planned maintenance and work on or near electrical installations
• Handling incidents, fault analysis, and coordination of corrective actions
• Plan and execute switching operations, in line with electrical safety rules, including preparation of switching plans, risk assessments and work permits
• Switching supervisor and switching/safety operations – both remote and onsite
• Onsite work, including instruction and training of partners on Electrical installations including BESS facilities
• Maintenance, preparation and optimization of KLS-D documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and standards (including EN50110)
• Contributing to the digitalization of operational processes and systems
• Updating functional requirements for EPC
• Ad hoc operational tasks related to asset operation

You will collaborate closely with EPC, Technical Asset Management colleagues, the Investor department, service providers, suppliers, grid companies, and SCADA specialists.

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical foundation and practical experience within electrical power systems. Your background may be as an engineer, marine engineer, authorized installer or similar – what matters most is your solid understanding of how electrical grids and installations function in practice, particularly within medium- and high-voltage systems.

Ideally you:

• Have experience with operation and maintenance of high-voltage installations
• Are used to working with complex technical systems where safety and operational stability are critical
• Understand how assets and installations behave in both normal and critical operating situations, and can actively apply this knowledge to ensure safe, stable and efficient operation
• Can work professionally in English in a technical context, as the role requires collaboration across the organization and with international stakeholders and partners
• Have experience with, or a strong interest in, battery energy storage systems (BESS) as the role involves working with BESS assets
