Job summary

project44 is seeking an IT Automation Engineer to own automation, integration, and two internal platforms, working hands-on across Workato, Snowflake, and internal apps.

You will build pipelines, manage identity flows, and support security/compliance while collaborating with HR, Finance, and Sales. Candidates should be comfortable in an office-based role with a focus on production-ready systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with integration and automation platforms such as Workato or similar iPaaS for design, webhooks, and debugging.
• SQL and Snowflake experience including schemas, views, service accounts, and data-quality troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and NetSuite data models and integration patterns.
• Experience with UKG Pro and Azure AD/Entra ID identity flows.
• Depth in Microsoft Entra ID: dynamic groups, Conditional Access, enterprise apps, SCIM/SAML provisioning.
• Azure hosting experience: Automation runbooks, Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, managed identities.
• Microsoft Intune / endpoint management and device compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the Workato platform: design, monitor, and maintain recipes, connections, and AI agents; triage failed jobs.
• Co-own HR-to-IT identity lifecycle and UKG Pro Azure AD sync for automation of joins and leavers.
• Own people-data and compliance pipelines, including Culture Amp SFTP integration and hybrid-work dashboards.
• Serve as the go-to engineer for Retool incidents blocking critical workflows.
• Design, build, and operate internal platforms: Project Registry and AI spend governance platform; ensure production readiness.
• Triage and resolve helpdesk, escalation, and offboarding tickets across SaaS and hardware; automate endpoint compliance evidence.
• Support major platform migrations and security reviews; administer SSO/security configurations; audit service accounts.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards; contribute to architecture documentation and governance.
