Job summary

Hitachi Rail Denmark A/S is seeking a Contract Manager to join the Danish Legal & Contracts team within the North, Central East Europe region. The role focuses on negotiation, management of customer and subcontractor relationships, and coordination with Project Managers, Finance, and Procurement to ensure contract compliance.

The ideal candidate has a law/relevant degree and at least 5 years in complex contract management, with strong drafting and risk-mitigation capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in complex contract management
• Ability to interpret and negotiate complex contracts
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage contracts with customers and subcontractors
• Coordinate inputs from Project Manager, Finance and Procurement
• Maintain contractual records and correspondence
• Provide contract clarification to project teams and mitigate risk
• Draft project communications and liaise with internal/external counsel
• Support negotiations with customers and suppliers
