Job summary

Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions seeks an Infrastructure Presales Specialist in Denmark to design solutions spanning servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud and security. You will translate requirements into BOMs and configurations while working with Account Managers, partners, and vendors to craft commercially viable offers.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture across servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud and/or security.
• Experience with solution design, infrastructure configuration, presales, solution architecture or technical consulting.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into solution configurations and commercial proposals.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical and business requirements and design infrastructure solutions across servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud and security.
• Translate requirements into BOMs and set up technical configurations.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, partners and vendors to develop technically sound and commercially competitive solutions.
• Support resellers as a trusted infrastructure advisor and assess requirements.
• Engage with partners and customers to discuss options and explain concepts clearly.
• Work with vendors to understand portfolios and translate into partner opportunities.
• Deliver workshops and technical sessions to educate partners on solutions and vendor portfolios.
• Contribute technical configurations and documentation for RFI/RFP processes and tenders.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, vendors and internal teams to move opportunities from requirements to quotation and proposal.

Abut The Role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Presales Specialist who combines a strong understanding of IT infrastructure with a commercial and solution-oriented mindset.

This is not an IT support or troubleshooting role. Instead, you will focus on understanding infrastructure requirements, designing appropriate solutions and translating customer and partner needs into technical configurations and commercially viable offers.

You will act as a key link between Sales, vendors, partners and technical stakeholders, helping shape infrastructure solutions across areas such as servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud and security.

You will bring an end-to-end perspective, considering not only the technical architecture but also the customer need, partner environment, commercial opportunity and internal processes.

The position can be based in either Viby or Ballerup.

What You'll Be Doing

• Infrastructure Solution Design: Understand technical and business requirements and design suitable infrastructure solutions across servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud and security.
• Solution Configuration: Translate infrastructure requirements into technical configurations and Bills of Materials (BOMs), selecting appropriate products and solution components.
• Commercial Presales: Work closely with Account Managers, partners and vendors to develop solutions that are both technically appropriate and commercially competitive.
• Technical Advisory: Support resellers as a trusted infrastructure advisor, helping them assess requirements and identify appropriate solution architectures.
• Partner & Customer Engagement: Participate in meetings with partners and customers to understand infrastructure needs, discuss solution options and explain technical concepts in a clear, commercially relevant way.
• Vendor Collaboration: Work with technology vendors to understand their portfolios, solution positioning and technical capabilities and translate these into opportunities for partners.
• Solution Enablement: Deliver workshops, webinars and technical sessions that help partners understand infrastructure solutions and vendor portfolios.
• Tender & Proposal Support: Contribute technical configurations, solution descriptions and documentation for RFI/RFP processes and public/private tenders.
• Internal Coordination: Work across Sales, Operations, vendors and other internal stakeholders to move opportunities from requirements through configuration, quotation and proposal.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who understands how infrastructure solutions fit together , rather than someone whose main experience is supporting or troubleshooting IT environments.

You are comfortable moving from a customer or partner requirement to a proposed infrastructure architecture and then translating that architecture into a configuration, BOM and commercial offering.

You:

• Have strong knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture , ideally across servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud and/or security.
• Have experience with solution design, infrastructure configuration, presales, solution architecture or technical consulting.
• Understand how individual infrastructure components are combined into complete solutions.
• Can translate technical requirements into solution configurations and commercial proposals.
• Are comfortable discussing solutions with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Can explain complex infrastructure topics in a clear and business-relevant way.
• Take a broad, end-to-end view of customer, partner and business requirements.
• Are curious, commercially minded and motivated by finding solutions that work technically and commercially.
• Have approximately 5+ years of relevant experience , preferably within a technology vendor, reseller/partner, systems integrator or distributor environment.
• Ideally have experience with NetApp and an understanding of the IT channel ecosystem.
• Are willing to travel regionally approximately twice per week and within EMEA approximately quarterly.
• Are fluent in Danish and English.
