Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Verification & Validation Specialist to join our RAMS & Validation team. You will verify and validate railway designs, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with contractual and internal requirements across development, design and implementation.

The role includes validating signalling layouts, hardware configurations and drawings, with occasional travel within Denmark (and to Germany) for commissioning and stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications

• Quality-oriented and structured approach to Verification & Validation tasks.
• Ability to deliver timely, accurate V&V reports with high-quality documentation.
• Ability to review technical documentation with a critical and independent mindset.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills; proactive mindset.
• Railway experience and knowledge of signalling terms are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Verify and validate that the F-bane project fulfils contractual and internal requirements during development, design and implementation deliveries to the Customer.
• Validate signalling layouts, hardware configuration, drawings, templates, etc., according to given instructions and checklists.
• Perform verification and validation inspections across project phases with focus on activities in Denmark and Germany.
• Report and evaluate non-compliance detected during V&V activities and create verification and validation reports.
• Liaise with internal teams, customers, partners and suppliers to optimize processes.
• Occasional travel within Denmark (and Germany) may be required for commissioning, testing activities, and stakeholder meetings.
