Job summary

Hitachi Rail Denmark A/S in Copenhagen is seeking a Construction Manager to plan, manage and carry out installations in a railway environment, coordinating construction activities, logistics, possessions and HSE implementation to deliver safe, ready-for-testing outputs.

You will lead site teams, supervise subcontractors, ensure compliance with drawings, RAMS, ITPs and permits, maintain installation records and provide timely escalation on safety, quality and schedule risks.

Qualifications

• Construction or installation management experience in rail, telecoms, electrical or infrastructure works.
• Strong understanding of permits, RAMS, inspections, site sequencing and subcontractor control.
• Ability to drive productivity without compromising safety or quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control daily/weekly construction activities, workforce deployment, subcontractor performance and installation productivity.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, RAMS, ITPs, permits, HSE controls, quality records and configuration-controlled changes.
• Coordinate materials readiness, site interfaces, civil constraints, access conflicts and handover to testing.
• Lead construction problem-solving, NCR correction, rework control and escalation of safety/quality/schedule risks.
• Maintain progress evidence, installation records, as-built inputs and commissioning-readiness information.
